SOFT CET – School of Fashion Technology Common Entrance Test acronym as SOFT CET is conducted by School of Fashion Technology, Pune for providing admission in design courses offered at the school.
SOFT CET Exam Eligibility:-
Educational Qualification For UG Program – B. Design (Affiliated to SNDT Women’s University)
Aspiring candidates must have passed Class 12 in any Stream – Arts/Commerce/Science/Home Science/ Minimum Competency Vocational Course (MCVC) including National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).
For UG Program – B. Design (Direct 2nd Year Admission)
Aspiring candidate must have completed a three-year Diploma recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) OR
a five-year Diploma in Fine Arts recognized by the State Technical Board.
For U.G. Diploma Program – F.A.D. plus B.Sc. (FD) (In technical Support with NIFT)
Candidate must have passed Class 12 in any Stream- Arts/Commerce/Science/Home Science including National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).
For PG Diploma Programs:-
The candidate must be a Graduate in any stream.
For P.G. Diploma Programs (1 Year)
Aspiring Candidate must have done Graduation in Fashion.
SOFT CET Exam Syllabus:-
SOFT CET consists of questions from the following topis/subjects
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Verbal/Non-verbal reasoning
- Analytical Ability
- Creative Ability
SOFT CET Exam Pattern:-
SOFT CET consists of written exam followed by Personal interview. Written test will consists of 60 questions and the duration of the exam will be 1-1/2 hour as given below:

How to apply for SOFT CET Exam?
Aspiring candidates can visit the official website and apply Online. If the candidate desires to apply for more than one course i.e. if she wants to give choice between the courses, she will have to register separately and pay separately for each course.
